Billy Zane returning for Zoolander sequel

Billy Zane is set to reunite with Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson for the upcoming Zoolander sequel.

The Titanic star made a cameo as himself in the 2001 comedy.

Stiller has now revealed that Zane has signed on to return for Zoolander 2.

Stiller made the announcement in a video posted on Instagram, in which he approaches a man who looks like Wilson's character Hansel but it turns out to be Zane in a blonde wig.

"Wouldn't it be cool if Billy Zane was in Zoolander 2?" to which Zane replies, "Yeah, that'd be great".

Zane joins previously announced cast members Penelope Cruz, Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell.

After years of speculation about a possible sequel, Zoolander 2 was announced in March. Stiller will direct the film.

In the original film, Zane made a brief but memorable cameo appearance when he attempted to offer Derek Zoolander (Stiller) some helpful advice. We will have to wait till next year to see if his part is slightly more significant.
