The Smashing Pumpkins are returning to New Zealand in August, and front man Billy Corgan promises the show will be "epic".
Last here for a sold out Town Hall show in 2010, the Chicago act will perform at Vector Arena on August 4 on the back of the band's headlining slot at the Splendour in the Grass festival in Australia.
The show will be among the first for the band to feature new songs from their upcoming album Oceania, due out on June 22.
In a statement, Corgan said the New Zealand and Australia shows were the "perfect place to usher in a new era of the Smashing Pumpkins".
He said they would bring an intense stage show to go with their new music.
