Organisers of the Big Day Out want to ensure the final Auckland event goes out with a bang - so they're letting fans in for free.
In the last few minutes NZ Big Day Out promoters announced: "This is the last Big Day Out, we're having a party and we want our friends to join us."
Fans with any previous year's official Big Day Out T-shirts or any previous year's souvenir tickets can enter the event until 8pm tonight from the O'Rourke Road entrance.
Trains are running but but not buses.
