Beady Eye, Deftones and The Hives have been named as the replacements for Blur at next year's Big Day Out.
The bands have been brought in as late additions to the festival after Blur, who were booked as a headline act, announced in a post on their Facebook page on November 24 that they were pulling out of all Big Day Out performances.
Beady Eye is fronted by Liam Gallagher, who was involved in a long-running feud with Blur while he was the lead singer of Oasis in the 1990s.
Deftones are one of the most respected heavy metal bands in the world.
Their most recent album Koi No Yokan was released in late-2012 to critical acclaim.
