Big Bang Theory star admits her engagement's 'crazy'

Kaley Cuoco admits her whirlwind engagement "seems crazy".

The 27-year-old actress' boyfriend Ryan Sweeting proposed after just three months of dating and while Kaley acknowledges they are moving fast, she says she has never been happier.

She told Entertainment Tonight: "I know that it seems a little crazy on paper. But it's what works for us.

"From day one I just knew immediately and it's been magic. We have all the same family friends. We grew up with the same people, we just never met. So I kind of feel that I've known him my whole life."

Kaley also revealed the tennis player started a fake fight with her on the night of the proposal in order to keep things a surprise.

She added: "He actually started a little fight with me and threw me off. I was like 'Oh my God, things aren't great.

"He surprised me at the end of the night ... [when] he popped the ring out. It was amazing."

The couple only made their red carpet debut together at a pre-Emmy Awards party last month, and they were first seen before that at a horse ranch in California in August.

Neither of the them have been married before, although Kaley - who was briefly engaged to addiction specialist Josh Resnik and secretly dated her Big Bang Theory co-star Johnny Galecki, for two years - recently split from Man of Steel actor Henry Cavill.

Speaking about their break-up, a source previously said: "She just got overwhelmed with the very public Superman relationship.

"She's not used to that much attention and chaos in her life."
