Justin Bieber will make his Saturday Night Live hosting debut next month.
The As Long As You Love Me singer - who recently split from his on-again/off-again girlfriend of more than two years Selena Gomez - will both host and perform on the show for the first time ever on February 9.
A source close to the 18-year-old Canadian popstar confirmed he will present the show and told Billboard magazine that he is scheduled to do it next month to promote his Believe Acoustic album.
News that he will emcee the comedy series, comes after he tweeted on Monday: "maybe im hosting and performing on SNL...maybe. (sic)"
Justin previously appeared on the late-night show as a musical guest in April 2010 and also made a cameo in the 100th Lonely Island digital short last year where joked: "I was tricked into doing this. I don't endorse this song. No, no, no, no," while chaos erupted around him.
