Justin Bieber insists he is in full control of his actions.
But the Beauty and a Beat singer - who is being investigated for battery following a heated verbal argument outside his home in Calabasas, California last week and has attracted a lot of controversy for bad behaviour in recent months - admits he finds it harder to trust people these days and only has four real friends.
The 19-year-old Canadian singer told the May issue of Teen Vogue magazine: "I get good vibes from people all the time, and I probably could get along with them and be their friend, but now I just don't trust anybody. Literally, my phone never rings. I only have, like, four people that I keep in contact with.
"I don't need a bunch of friends to make me happy. I just need the people close to me that I love, that's all."
Justin has attracted a lot of criticism recently for a string of incidents including smuggling a monkey into Germany, showing up to his concert two hours late in London and most recently for getting barred from an Austrian nightclub after his security team allegedly broke a fan's camera.
