She is one of the most successful and powerful celebrities in the world. But it seems that even Beyonce has at least one person she idolises.
The singer has written a 'love letter' to Michelle Obama praising her as an inspiration to women.
In the handwritten note, which she uploaded to her website, Beyonce said she was proud that her daughter with rapper husband Jay-Z, Blue Ivy Carter, had somebody like the First Lady to look up to.
Beyonce, 30, who together with Jay-Z is said to be worth more than $770million (NZD), wrote: 'Michelle is the ULTIMATE example of a truly strong African American woman.
'She is a caring mother, she is a loving wife whilst at the same time she is the FIRST LADY!!!
