Beyonce's extravagant 'push party', henna tattoo on her belly

Beyonce has stunned the internet again - this time she made her mark with her extravagant baby shower for her twins.

The superstar singer celebrated the upcoming arrival of her babies with some of her closest friends and family at her official 'Carter Push Party'.

The party had an African theme and guests who went along included her former Destiny's Child band mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, tennis player Serena Williams, her mum Tina Knowles, La La Anthony and Vanessa Bayer.

In a series of black and white images she posted on Instagram, the singer can be seen showing off a large Henna tattoo on her bare belly while she wore a string bikini and sarong.

Queen Bey also wore massive gold earrings and a silk scarf.

The party was held at a private home in Beverly Hills where gold balloon letters could be seen spelling out the words 'Carter Push Party' and 'Twinning.'

The Grammy winner is currently expecting twins with her 47-year-old husband Jay-Z. They have a daughter, Blue Ivy, who is five.

E! News reports than an inside source said: "The party was very family friendly with Blue Ivy and lots of her friends running around the grounds of the estate.

"There was a huge tent erected on the property where most of the shower took place.

"The decor was African-themed and very colourful with lounge seating areas, floor pillows and rugs on the floor."

The source also said there was a Henna tattoo artist on site as well as African dancers and drummers.

While Bey's guests were kept busy, kids were treated to a pool party outdoors with lifeguards, pool rafts and a lemonade stand.

Beyonce's 63-year-old mother Tina also uploaded an Instagram photo from the event.
