Beyoncé has urged her mother not to “spill too much Mama tea” in her upcoming memoir.
Tina Knowles, 70, revealed today that she would release Matriarch, a book she described as a “chronicle of family love and heartbreak, of loss and perseverance”.
Shortly after the announcement, Beyoncé praised her fashion designer mother on Instagram, saying she “couldn’t be prouder”.
The Single Ladies singer added: “You put your heart into this book. I’m happy for you to share some of the stories that shaped you into who you are. To know is to love you. But please don’t spill too much Mama Tea.”
