Pop icon Beyoncé and rapper husband Jay-Z are cementing their position as LA royalty - as they seek to buy one of the city's most spectacular homes.
The £68.5 million (NZ$119.7m), two-acre estate in Bel Air should provide enough space for the superstar couple - together worth an estimated £880 million (NZ$1.5 billion) - along with their five-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, and newborn twins Rumi and Sir.
The newly-built 30,000 sq ft home has a spa, media room, four outdoor pools and a 15-car garage. It also has more than 10,000 sq ft of patio and terrace space. Bulletproof, floor-to- ceiling glass walls on two sides offer panoramic views across the city.
The home - bought from Irish property magnate Dean McKillen - also comes with a full-size basketball court. Last year, the couple's £40 million bid for the home of the late James Bond film producer Albert 'Cubby' Broccoli in Beverly Hills was beaten by designer Tom Ford.
