For me, 2017 was the year of:
Binge watching! I was late to the game but I'm really into binge watching now.
The best thing I watched this year was:
Matilda The Musical. I'm not a huge fan of live theatre, but I thought it was funny and brilliantly done.
The show I stopped watching:
Designated Survivor. It just went on... and on.. and on... and on...
The series I binged the fastest:
Stranger Things Season 1 and 2, back to back, each night.
The best thing I listened to:
Winston Peter's coalition announcement. It kept swinging between looking like he was going to go with National, then it would seem as if he was picking Labour. It was dramatic and everything about it was just pure pageantry.
The best live show I saw:
Matilda The Musical - I couldn't stop smiling after I saw it.
The biggest letdown of the year was:
Cirque de Soleil's Avatar. It just wasn't a circus.
And my personal highlight was:
Duncan Garner taking the heat during The AM Show, it was a refreshing change to have it off of me!
