Laura McGoldrick and Sarah Gandy wrap up the week's big music news straight from The Hits studio. This week Parris Goebel drops her first single, as well as new music from Tove Lo, Katy Perry, and, if the rumours are true, a new Gaga track is imminent.
Kiwi dance queen Parris Goebel made headlines with her debut single this week, declared an instant banger by many.
The track Friday is from her upcoming EP, produced by renowned Kiwi star producer P-Money.
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga is back with new music, working with legendary producer Mark Ronson, the manbehind last year's mega-hit Uptown Funk.
Katy Perry has also returned, briefly, releasing the Olympic anthem Rise in time for the Rio games.
But it's rising Swedish star Tove Lo who has everyone buzzing, including Lorde, who declared the singer's latest track to be the offical "song of summer".
