KEY POINTS:
Talented comedians from New Zealand will be hoping they top the list at the Billy T Awards.
This year's nominees are Wellington stand-up Alex Hawley, the Classic's ticket guy Grant Lobban, musical comedy duo mrs.peacock (previous winners of the Comedy Guild award for Most Offensive Gag) and former Gary member Jamie Bowen.
Past winners include Cal Wilson, Ewen Gilmour and Te Radar.
Final judging will take place at the Last Laugh, on May 27 at the Comedy Chamber, Auckland as part of the NZ International Comedy Festival.
