"It's not that I'm more gifted than anybody else" says Lance Armstrong - portrayed by actor Ben Foster - as he speeds down a mountain road in the trailer for the new film The Program. "It's just desire."
The Program is a biographical exposé of cycling legend Armstrong and Irish Sunday Times journalist David Walsh, played by Chris O'Dowd, set on uncovering the doping secrets behind Armstrong's unbelievable racing speed.
"He recovered from cancer and turned into bloody Superman - do you think that's natural?" Walsh questions in the clip.
The Program's screenplay was adapted by John Hodge from Walsh's books about the sports legend and is directed by High Fidelity director, Stephen Frears.
Lee Pace, Dustin Hoffman and Breaking Bad actor Jesse Plemons also star in the film.
