Director Guillermo del Toro, who has the job of bringing The Hobbit to life for producer Peter Jackson, isn't the only one from the Hellboy II gang heading to New Zealand soon.
Doug Jones, who plays Abe Sapien in the Hellboy sequel (pictured), will be in Auckland at Labour Weekend for the annual Armageddon Pulp Expo, which brings together all the best in gaming, sci-fi, comics and technology.
Trained in mime and often seen on screen under heavy prosthetics, Jones' past roles include the Silver Surfer in the Fantastic Four and the Pale Man in Del Toro's Pan's Labyrinth - the guy with his eyes in his hands.
