You may remember Marcus Lush as the foppish-haired, mischievous-grinned, intrepid reporter on Newsnight, circa 1994. Here he is with the presenters of the show, Alison Mau and Simon Dallow, who later became an item, married, had two kids, and split - she's now romantically linked to dance instructor Karleen Edmonds; he's been linked to TV3 reporter Rebecca Wright.
Mau and Lush reminisced last year at TVNZ's anniversary party. We snapped them together again fifteen years later and it's evident Mau has barely changed. The same broad smile, the same luscious blonde locks. At least Lush fits his suit now.
Our stroll down memory lane doesn't stop there. We came across this little beauty on YouTube from the 1995 Radio Awards. Lush, who appears to honour Dennis Connor in a stars-and-stripes ensemble, presents a clip from the awards night with some very familiar faces.

There's a handsome Martin Devlin with slicked-back hair who looks like an extra from Goodfellas.
Jay-Jay Feeney wears a pink satin ribbon in her hair and a marshmallow on her shoulders. Lush looks enamoured. He leans in, he flirts, he bats his eyelashes and nestles in for his close up.
There's Rodger Clamp, Andrew Dickens, Phil Gifford, Kim Hill, Simon Barnett and Dominic Harvey, who bizarrely calls himself Baldrick and pulls a handful of pens out of the pocket of his penguin suit in an eager attempt to impress Lush. It works.
This blast from the past may be cringe-worthy in parts but it's a delightful insight to the rising stars of radio in the 90s.
