Jim Carrey has revealed what helped him Stay Alive while sitting through the eight and a half hours needed to create his make-up for the Grinch.
The actor used a strange combination of music from the Bee Gees and a man who trained CIA operatives how to endure torture.
"That's how I got through it. That, and The Bee Gees the only thing that worked to calm me through the make-up was everything they had ever done. I've no idea why, but they just made me happy. There'd be no Grinch without them," Carrey said on the Graham Norton show.
