Barry Gibb, the eldest and only surviving member of iconic group the Bee Gees, has been confirmed as the headline act for next year's Mission Concert in Hawke's Bay.
Event management company SEL expects a strong demand for tickets.
Gibb, 66, will be launching his international Mythology Tour with three concerts in his old homeland of Australia before jetting to Napier to perform on the Mission stage for the February 23 show.
The tour has been put together to pay tribute to the success he and his brothers Maurice and Robin achieved on the world's music stage over five decades.
It has been eagerly anticipated and Mission concert goers will be just the fourth audience to see it. Carole King will perform as support.
