David Beckham is opening a restaurant with his friend Gordon Ramsey.
The 37-year-old Los Angeles Galaxy soccer player is teaming up with the TV chef for the eatery and he is "excited" to be venturing into a new business.
He told radio host Ryan Seacrest: "We've got something in the
pipeline. We are obviously good friends and we are excited about a project that could happen pretty soon.
"It will be a business thing but owning a restaurant is going to be fun as well."
David and his wife Victoria - who have children, Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 10, Cruz, seven, and 16-month old Harper together - are close friends with Gordon, 46, and his wife Tana, 37, and the families regularly meet up for vacations and dinner dates.
