Pros: The level of detail is amazing with dozens of battleships, cruisers and fighter planes well realised, and the battles, from Pearl Harbour to Midway, nicely recreated.
Cons: The combination of real-time strategy and shoot 'em up action is unusual and attimes frustratingly fiddly to control.
Verdict: A new twist on the well-worn World War II strategy genre that takes some getting to know but is ultimately a rewarding play.
