You have to feel for the Auckland Town Hall. This May it hosts a triple bill of mainstream metal's leading lights. Bullet For My Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold and Atreyu team up for a gig on May 14 and the walls of the old building are likely to shudder like they've never shuddered before.
Meanwhile, after disbanding more than two years ago, Auckland punk rockers Sommerset are getting back together for four shows around the country, including the Kings Arms on April 18.
The line-up for the gigs will be guitarists and singers Ryan Thomas and Milon Williams, with original Sommerset bass player Stefan Thompson and drummer Jay Dougrey.
