KEY POINTS:
Battalion Wars II
(Wii)
(PG)
Pros: A surprisingly compelling premise, which has six fictional geographic factions vying for control of the world. The game has a polished look and you can move military units around with a simple point and click system.
Cons: Playing general soon wears thin as the reality drains from the game. The artificial intelligence is simplistic and there's not much to do apart from annihilate the enemy's units. Online play is only of fleeting interest.
Verdict: A spin-off from the Nintendo hit Advance Wars but fails to stack up as a fully-fledged strategy game with limited replay value online.
