Roger Green, grandfather of The Bachelor star Art Green, auditioned for the role of James Bond in the Oscar-nominated 1971 movie "Diamonds are Forever". The Herald on Sunday has obtained Green's original screen-test - which was the Kiwi actor's first and only take at the audition was to replace Academy Award-winning actor Sean Connery, who eventually re-signed to continue the role of Bond.
