Baby boom: Kardashian, Saldana and Panettiere welcome new children

'Tis the season... to have a baby, apparently.

Hollywood is celebrating the arrival of several celebrity spawn this week - after Kourtney Kardashian, Zoe Saldana and Hayden Panettiere all gave birth over the weekend.

Kourtney Kardashian

Reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian has given birth to her third child.

Kim Kardashian's older sister and her longtime boyfriend Scott Disick welcomed a son on Sunday - the same day their first child, Mason, turned five.

A name for the tot has yet to be revealed, but a source tells E online, "The family is freaking out with joy. What an amazing coincidence."

Kardashian and Disick also have a two-year-old girl named Penelope.

Hayden Panettiere

Actress Hayden Panettiere has become a mother.

The Nashville star, 26, gave birth to a daughter named Kaya, her first child with her fiance, Ukrainian boxer Wladimir Klitschko, on Tuesday.

The proud parents tell People.com, "We are over the moon and madly in love!" The couple, which became engaged last year, was rumoured to be expecting in May, but Panettiere only confirmed the baby news in August.

Zoe Saldana

Actress Zoe Saldana has given birth to twin boys.

The Guardians of the Galaxy star and her husband Marco Perego welcomed the double bundle of joy, their first children, in Los Angeles on Monday.

A source tells E online.com, "She had her twins. (They) are both so excited. They are surrounded by family and friends. All that matters now to Zoe and her husband is that the babies are healthy."

The fiercely private couple secretly wed in England in the summer of 2013. News of her pregnancy first surfaced in July. Saldana confirmed the baby joy in August.
