Korean breakdancing champion Shorty Force took top boasting honours at Vector Arena in Auckland last night.
The 16 B-Boys from 11 nations taking part in the Asia Pacific Qualifier gained their places by winning their national "cyphers".
They competed head-to-head in knockout battles, trying to break their way into the Red Bull BC One World Final held in Rio de Janeiro in December, where the world's best B-Boy will be crowned.
In the final throw-down, Shorty Force beat fellow Korean Differ.
B-Boying refers to the dance, moves and lifestyle originated in the late 1970s in the Bronx in New York. It's a foundation element of hip-hop culture along with DJing, MCing and graffiti art.
