Actor Verne Troyer has reached out to his fans to assure them that he is "fine" after suffering a seizure over the weekend.
The pint-sized Austin Powers star was attending a meet-and-greet event with fans at a comic book convention in Waco, Texas when he became ill and struggled to breathe.
He was taken to hospital and later discharged.
Troyer soon after took to his website to share a video message with worried devotees.
In the clip, Troyer says: "I'm sure you guys have heard some news that I went to the hospital. But I just want to reassure you and let everyone know that I am fine.
"I was there for maybe a couple hours, did some tests, and now I'm here at the hotel and I plan on signing again tomorrow."
Troyer, 46, kept his word and attended the second day of the Heart of Texas Comic Con on Sunday as promised.
