INXS have unveiled Irish singer-songwriter Ciaran Gribbin as their new frontman.
Gribbin, from Belfast, has worked with artists including Paul McCartney, Madonna and Snow Patrol.
The band recently unveiled a demo recording with Gribbin entitled Tiny Summer, co-written by Andrew Farriss and Gribbin.
Farriss said he "felt magic"again when writing Tiny Summer with Gribbin.
"I'm currently writing more songs for INXS with Gribbin, and we as a band hope to share morenew music with you all as soon as possible," Farriss said in a statement.
"It's all so amazing and sometimes overwhelming, especially when I look up and see that my writing partner is one of the greatest songwriters of our time," Gribbin said.
Previous frontman JD Fortune, who won his place in the band in 2005 through US TV talent show Rock Star: INXS, was let go by the band in 2009.
He was one of a number of artists to perform with the band since charismatic frontman Michael Hutchence died in 1997.
