KEY POINTS:
Everything from a guitar painted by renowned Kiwi artist Bill Hammond to a guitar signed by the Cure will be on offer at this year's Raukatauri Music Therapy Trust auction.
The annual fundraiser is in aid of the Auckland Centre which provides music therapy for special needs children of school age and younger.
Other artworks up for auction include a piece by Otis Frizzell, eight-piece dinner sets designed by musicians including Bic Runga and Chris Knox; and Boh Runga, a patron of the trust, is donating some of her new jewellery line.
The night also features performances by Hollie Smith, Don McGlashan, and Fly My Pretties. The event, which starts with cocktails, then dinner and a concert, and concludes with the auction, is on at the Auckland Town Hall on November 1.
