Guns N' Roses will perform at Western Springs Stadium, if one local promoter has his way.
A music promoter says he's working on bringing two of the world's hottest acts - Guns N' Roses and Adele - to New Zealand.
In an interview with Fairfax, promoter Paul Dainty said he was attempting to bring both acts here before the end of next year.
He wants GunsN' Roses to perform at Auckland's Western Springs Stadium, and Adele to be hosted at Eden Park.
If successful, both stadium-sized shows are likely to be huge drawcards.
Guns N' Roses were last here in 2007, but the line-up currently touring includes reunited original members Axl Rose, guitarist Slash, Duff McKagan and Dizzy Reed.
She also has tour dates scheduled until the middle of November.
Can Adele be wooed to New Zealand for the first time? One local promoter is trying.
Dainty has plenty of pulling power: he was the one he helped get Prince here earlier this year, and recently hosted Katy Perry and last week's Billy Crystal shows.
