British rock heroes Arctic Monkeys are on their way to New Zealand.
The band exploded out of their hometown of Sheffield on a wave of MySpace hype and a reputation for frantically sweaty live shows back in the mid-2000s and have since gone on to release six number one albums, and pick up multiple awards.
Having constantly challenged audience expectations with each record the band had their boldest reinvention on their last album, Tranquillity Base Hotel & Casino, which saw them put down the frenzied guitars in favor of a louche, piano driven, cocktail bar vibe.
The four-piece will play one show at Spark Arena on Wednesday March 6, next year. Presales available from the band's website on Tuesday, October 30, and for Frontier Members from Thursday, November 1. General release tickets will go onsale Wednesday November 7, at 2pm through Ticketmaster.
