Anthony Mackie pumped for Captain America 3

Anthony Mackie has been raving about Captain America 3.

Titled Captain America: Civil War, it again stars Chris Evans as the shield-wielding hero, but will also see Robert Downey Jr co-starring as Tony Stark.

If it follows the comics, that means the two Avengers comrades oppose each other.

Not only that, but new superhero, Chadwick Boseman's Black Panther, will appear for the first time.

If that's not enough to get you excited, there's what Mackie told Collider about the flick while promoting Black or White.

"Let's just say its a wing-ding-doozy of a time," he says of the sequel, which sees Joe and Anthony Russo - who directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier - return to the helm.

"The great thing about it is, after seeing The Avengers, I joked and said Captain America 2 was Avengers 1.5.

"Now with Avengers 2 coming out... Captain America 3 is so far beyond Avengers 2.5 and onto the realm of Avengers 3.8.

"It's by far one of the most stupendous rides Marvel has put together."
