Anne Heche's ex-husband has blasted her "public bullying".
Coley Laffoon is furious after the actress – who he divorced in March – branded him a "lazy a*s" during a TV interview with David Letterman and says she should have considered the welfare of their seven-year-old son Homer before speaking.
He wrote on his Facebook page: "I wish Anne Heche could see that public bullying isn't good for the soul or positive for her child. It's mean."
Expanding his comment further, the real estate agent added in a statement: "After coming home from showing two different clients two different condominiums, I was disturbed to see Anne taking out her personal frustration on the father of her child on national television."
During her TV interview with David Letterman, Anne complained about the $3,700-per-month she gives Coley in child support.
She blasted: "He goes out to the mailbox and he opens up the little mailbox door and goes, 'Oh! I got a cheque from Anne! Oh! I got a check from Anne! Yay!'
"He is doing a lot for himself right now. I think he wants to coach soccer right about now. It's funny because you can't quite let go of the ex.
"He wants me to come and watch him run around in his little white shorts playing soccer. Honestly, I don't want to come to rehearsal and watch you run around in your tight shorts trying to pretend you know how to play soccer. I divorced you! I don't want to hang around with you Thursdays and Saturdays and maybe on Sunday."
During their separation, Anne and Coley couldn't agree on how to organise the custody of Homer or even how to split their furniture.
She claimed he was only interested in "porn, poker and money" while he said she was mentally unstable.
In the end, Anne is believed to have given Coley a US$515,000 lump sum payment. He also got half of their assets, including $700,000 worth of stocks.
Anne is now dating actor James Tupper, with who she has five-month-old son Atlas.
