Actress Anne Hathaway has added her thoughts to the massacre at a Colorado screening of her new movie The Dark Knight Rises, saying her "heart aches" for the victims.
Director Christopher Nolan, his leading man Christian Bale and composer Hans Zimmer have already broken their silence following Friday's mass shooting, which claimed 12 lives.
Now Hathaway, who plays Catwoman in the movie, has offered her comments.
"My heart aches and breaks for the lives taken and altered by this unfathomable, senseless act. I am at a loss for words how to express my sorrow. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families,'' Hathaway said in a statement.
James Holmes, 24, has been charged with entering the Aurora cinema near Denver in full combat gear and opening fire in a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises.
