KEY POINTS:
The couple who seemingly have it all, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, have a gorgeous new acquisition.
No, not another child for their growing brood, a French Chateau.
If you weren't jealous of the superstar couple before, you might be soon.
According to reports, Jolie and Pitt have plunked down 35 million pounds (NZ$88m) on a sprawling estate in the French Riviera near showbiz pals Johnny Depp and Bono.
The luxury property boasts a 35 bedroom residence, indoor pool, his-and-hers gyms, billiards room, sauna and Jacuzzi, banquet hall, vineyard, moat, lake and forest.
The pair and their children Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, Shiloh, 22 months and their unborn twins (due next month) will move into the 1000 acre property next month, according to the Daily Mail.
'It's a place called Chateau Miraval which is in a tiny village called Brignol in the Var, not far from Aix en Provence,' a source close to the deal told the Daily Mail.
'Just the driveway up to the Chateau is three miles long. There's a lake and a swimming pool and fountains and fields with ponies in and it's surrounded by a huge forest so no-one will be able to take pictures of them or the kids.
The couple reportedly found the estate during a helicopter tour of the area, searching for a suitable property to purchase.
The Mail's source said: 'Last year Brad and Angelina took a helicopter along the Riviera and they were literally landing in people's gardens of houses that they liked and were running in to ask if their properties were for sale. They found this one the same way a few weeks ago, and told the owner to name his price.'
The jet-setting pair are believed to be settling in the area, although they also own residences in New Orleans, Cambodia and Los Angeles.
