KEY POINTS:
Amy Winehouse is set to check into a rehab centre near to the prison where her husband is currently being held, according to reports.
The troubled singer has reportedly been told to seek help following a shambolic performance at the V festival last weekend.
Amy is planning to book into the "small and friendly" Focus 12 Clinic in Burt St. Edmunds, Suffolk - close to Highpoint Prison, near Newmarket, where Blake Fielder-Civil is serving his sentence for grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice.
Amy's dad Mitch has given his full support to her plan, telling Britain's The Sun newspaper: "This is a very good idea. If she can get clean and still see Blake it can only be good."
Blake was moved to Highpoint Prison last month from London's Pentonville Prison and Amy had reportedly started house hunting in Suffolk in order to be nearer to him.
Focus 12 was reportedly recommended to Amy by British comic star Russell Brand who was treated for heroin addiction there in 2002 and is now its patron.
He is said to have asked Focus 12's chief executive Chip Somers to agree to treat Amy. Somers then contacted the 24-year-old Back to Black star to offer her a place at the clinic.
