Almost one million New Zealanders tuned in to watch the season finale of New Zealand's Got Talent on Sunday.
The episode, which saw 12 contestants compete for the top prize, drew in 930,000 viewers aged over five - 51 per cent of the available audience - Nielsen figures show.
An average of 1.4 million New Zealanders tuned in each week since the show started screening in September, head of TVOne and TV2 Jeff Latch said.
Marlborough teenager Clara Van Wel was crowned winner at the end of Sunday's episode.
Before Sunday night there had been about 854,000 streams of the show on TVNZ's internet service.
