The great Phoebe Waller-Bridge is best known for writing and starring in the brill comedy series Fleabag, but with Killing Eve she moves into the serious business of serial killers. This season the robot revolution is really going to kick off. The growing sentience within the Westworld theme park's AI androids sees them going off script and fighting for their freedom. The trailers look amazing, with the parks samurai, cowboys, Indians and militia rallying against their makers. Not to mention the androids that have escaped the park's confines to enter the real world. This sci-fi mind-bender is one of HBO's big hitters so we're expecting great things. Episodes streaming weekly from Monday 23.
Wonder Woman
Neon has some great movies landing in April, such as the animated Despicable Me 3 in time for the school holidays, Emily Blunt and Jason Segel's not-rom-com The Five-Year Engagement for when the kids are in bed, and the action-packed Death Race 2050 for when you want to turn your brain off. But the big pick has to be Wonder Woman. The film that's solely responsible for getting DC's movie universe on track and also one of our faves films of last year. Streaming now

The Alienist
Not, as the name may suggest, a space opera about ETs, this is instead a period mystery thriller set in early New York. Taking its name from experts who helped people with mental illness - said to be "alienated from their true selves" - this grim and gritty series follows an alienist who helps the NYPD track down a serial killer who is murdering young male prostitutes and street kids. Streaming from next Thursday.
Mercury 13
If you believe, they put a man on the moon. But, as this movie-length doco shows, it very well could have been a woman taking that first giant step for mankind. The Mercury 13 were a group of female pilots trained in secret to fly Nasa's rocket ship. Not only were there more of them, only seven men were trained, they routinely outperformed their male counterparts in a range of tests. Nevertheless, not one was allowed to board the spaceship. This tells their story. Streaming from next Friday.
