Mike Hosking and Toni Street have been announced as the new hosts of TVNZ current affairs show Seven Sharp, after Alison Mau confirmed she was leaving the programme.
Hosking and Street will join current presenter Jesse Mulligan when the show returns in the New Year.
Mau confirmed today she will leave the TVNZ show at the end of the week. She will move to RadioLive to host a show with Willie Jackson.
TVNZ's Head of News and Current Affairs John Gillespie said viewers were "in for a real treat" with the new team.
"Toni is a naturally gifted broadcaster and an outstanding journo. She's ready to make the move into a primetime presenting role. Mike is one of New Zealand's most respected and versatile broadcasters. He has a long history with TVNZ and we're delighted to be welcoming him back. We think our new team will take Seven Sharp to the next level in 2014."
