AC/DC fans could be in the red, rather than back in black, if they buy scalped tickets for the rock band's upcoming Auckland gig.
Promoter Ian Magan has threatened action against international website Viagogo for touting tickets for up to $1300 for AC/DC's concert - tickets that don't yet exist.
"I have issued them a cease and desist. We will take legal action if they don't comply," he said.
Viagogo spokeswoman Rebecca Davis said tickets were available on Viagogo early because event organisers often pre-allocated tickets to fan clubs, sponsors, VIPs, and travel/hospitality companies long before tickets officially went on the market.
"Those people might choose to list their tickets on Viagogo if they want to sell them."
