Cambridge rapper Diaz Grimm's debut album isn't out until next week, but you can listen to it exclusively right now on nzherald.co.nz.
Mixed and mastered at Red Bull Studios in Grey Lynn, Osiris was written over the course of a year and is available for iTunes pre-order now.
Grimm hopes hip-hop fans listen to his lyrics, many of which were written on his own in his car parked up at remote spots.
"I really want people who are listening to this album to take on what I'm saying," he says.
"A lot of other rappers focus on their technical skills and their wordplay ... I'm not. I'm just trying to say something."
