This long out-of-print package - made up of a four-hour DVD (including a feature-length doco and extras), 16-track CD and 100-page book - gets a reissue eight years on and tells the story of Coxsone Dodd and Studio One, the Jamaican label he founded in 1963, all over again.
It remains essential because not only is it one of music's great yarns - but songs like the sweet reggae soul of Alton Ellis' I'm Still In Love With You, and the interviews and rare footage of main players like keyboard maestro Jackie Mittoo make Studio One Story music gold.
