The soundtrack to the second series of this popular Australian comedy drama includes Punching in a Dream by our very own the Naked and Famous. Though this might sound predictably parochial it is the best song here. There is tough competition from the slacker whimsy of the Black Keys' Tighten Up, the charming din of Best Coast's Crazy For You and the eerie pop of Lykke Li's Get Some. But then there are moments of cheese, like Gypsy and the Cat's nice enough, but oh so dreary, Time to Wander. So like the TV series, this collection is at its best when it's quirky and a little oddball, but it also has its flaky and flat moments.
