Rating: 4/5
Departing from Fabric's mostly dance and electronic musical fare somewhat, this collection is complied by Jamaican music enthusiast David Rodigan. He intentionally steers clear of the usual reggae tracks that turn up on compilations of this sort - and it's ear-flapping, trainspotting goodness. There's the distorted and beautifully muffled rawness of Big Youth's Waterhouse Rock, the ebbing sweetness of Etana's August Town (that's punctuated with gunshots),
and your faith in Shaggy will be restored after hearing his dark and punishing Church Heathen.
