The WIUK started covering the rather saucy Afternoon Delight after a sly 3-year-old requested it at one of their shows. In fact punters requesting songs is how they came to be covering most of the tracks on this seven-track EP, their fourth release. And it's appropriate because one of the greatest attributes of this 12-piece ensemble is the way they charm an audience.
You'd have to be in a pretty cynical mood not to smile at their light-as-air, finger-skipping arrangements, sunny strumming and casual vocal harmonies.
An irresistible cover of This Charming Man by The Smiths gets a little jazzy, and there's a beautifully comical cover of Justin Timberlake's Cry Me A River.
