Rating: 4/5
If you like your rock'n'roll, hard, steely, and psychedelic, with a little Sonics thrown in, then meet the Black Angels. The Texan band's third album charts a tough and trippy course, starting off brazen as Bad Vibrations escalates into a messy groove, Yellow Elevator #2 is melodic and eerie, and River of Blood is a frenzied, distorted slaughter.
