The former Gunners axeman returns to his birth place of Stoke-on-Trent - no, he wasn't born somewhere on Sunset Strip - for a homecoming show taking in Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver, and Snakepit songs, as well as solo material from last year's Slash album, including trashy rocker Doctor Alibi (written with fellow Stoke native Lemmy).
While singer Myles Kennedy (like Axl with a country twang) does a handy job on Sweet Child O' Mine, Paradise City, and the suitably sleazy Slither, it's never going to be the real thing. But if it's those famous riffs and axe solos you're after, then Slash is your man.
