The former Mavericks frontman continues his credible solo career by bridging dramatic Spanish-influenced Tex-Mex, alt.country, stinging guitar rock, and some rather ordinary Nashville country, and pulls his powerful vocals to the fore. Guests includes Augie Meyers (organ) and Asleep at the Wheel's Ray Benson.
