Miami rapper Pitbull likes to call himself Mr Worldwide, and on this album it looks like he is looking for the title Mr Connected.
Planet Pit seems to be just an excuse to get Marc Anthony, Chris Brown, Sean Paul, Ne-Yo, Kelly Rowland and other big names of the pop charts together on one disc.
Sure it boasts some of the biggest Latin-inspired dance hits of the year, including Brown's International Love and Give Me Everything, but the record is basically an over-produced set of two-dimensional party tracks seeking mainstream radio airplay.
