Chicago hip-hop artist Lupe Fiasco delves into a range of social and political issues - from suicide to slavery - on Lasers (apparently an acronym for Love Always Shines Every (time) Remember (to) Smile). But despite the heavy undertones, Fiasco says it's an album of positivity and that's evident from the very beginning with track one, Letting Go, through to the anthemic The Show Goes On, which sits midway. It's a decent follow-up to his last album, The Cool, that shouldn't disappoint.
